For the final day of Royal Ascot 2021, guests wore big feathers, bright colors, and floral hats.
The ROYAL ASCOT returned today for the competition’s final day. Guests arrived in bright, colorful hats and outfits.
Today was day five of the Royal Ascot 2021 tournament, and guests were in attendance. Guests dressed up in their finest gowns and colorful hats for the occasion, turning heads.
Royal Ascot has a strict dress code that all attendees must adhere to.
Women who come to the event wearing hats risk being turned away.
“Hats should be worn; however, a headpiece with a solid base of four inches (10cm) or more in diameter is permitted as an alternative to a hat,” according to the official Ascot website. “Fascinators aren’t allowed.”
As the races came to a close today, it appears that some racegoers saved their best outfits for last.
One racegoer wore a flowered two-toned blue hat that sat to the left of her head when she arrived.
It was adorned with white and blue flowers and a thin white veil at the front.
She finished off the look with a sleeveless tuxedo dress in the same baby blue hue.
Other visitors went for a coordinated look, with five women dressed in matching yellow flowered sundresses.
They were all wearing yellow hats with different designs that included feathers, roses, and spikes.
Another woman had a large white headgear with leaves protruding from the top.
She paired the dramatic hat with a red dress with an asymmetric hem in a block color.
Another had a baby pink hat with a huge curled feather on top that stood straight up.
Feathers were certainly a popular choice among racegoers today, and more headpieces in the same style were noticed.
One donned a red flat sunhat with light pink feathers braided around the rim.
Charlotte Hawkins, the presenter of Good Morning Britain, was also seen arriving at the races.
She wore a cream midi dress with three-quarter length lace sleeves and looked elegant.
A matching flowered cream hat completed the presenter’s ensemble.
Charlotte isn’t the only celebrity who will be attending this week’s event.
The races are regularly attended by members of the Royal Family, as well as well-known public celebrities.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Princess Anne, and Zara Tindall were among the royals in attendance this week.
