Final Fantasy 16 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 blow past TGS, according to Square Enix.

Fans of SQUARE ENIX wanting to learn more about Final Fantasy 16 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 at TGS 2021 are likely to be disappointed.

The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2021 is taking place this week, and Square Enix is one of the prominent industry heavyweights attending. The creators of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest will host their TGS headline program on Friday, but will also be streaming other content that day and over the weekend. Square Enix has also unveiled its entire stream schedule ahead of TGS 2021.

Unfortunately, if you’re looking for information about Final Fantasy 16 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, you’re out of luck.

Square Enix’s TGS lineup makes no mention of the widely anticipated upcoming Final Fantasy games.

Other high-profile games, such as Forspoken, a PS5 exclusive, and the anticipated new Marvel game Guardians of the Galaxy, are not included.

Final Fantasy 16 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, on the other hand, don’t appear to be making an appearance at TGS 2021, unless Square Enix has some surprises in store for its Friday event.

This announcement may surprise Final Fantasy fans, as an update for Final Fantasy 16 was supposed to be released in 2021.

One area where a PS5 exclusive announcement could have been made was during E3 2021.

After Final Fantasy 16 skipped that June event, it was assumed that the game would instead appear at TGS.

With that out of the question, it’s uncertain when Square Enix will divulge additional information regarding the next mainline Final Fantasy game.

One possibility is that Square Enix will do a standalone stream, such as another Square Enix Presents broadcast, to unveil more about Final Fantasy 16, which will air near the end of the year.

An update during The Game Awards 2021 in December could also be an option.

However, the most likely alternative is a Final Fantasy 16 update during the next major PS5 event.

In September, Sony presented a PlayStation 5 event that included the first look at God of War Ragnarok gameplay, the debut of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and a teaser for a new Wolverine game from Insomniac Games.

Sony, on the other hand, may not be stopping there -. “Brinkwire Summary News.”
