Hundreds of EA and FIFA 21 fans have reported server connection troubles today, indicating that EA servers are offline. Down Detector, a third-party outage monitor, has seen a significant increase in FIFA and EA down complaints today. Hundreds of down complaints have been registered, with statistics showing that server connection issues are the biggest issue affecting FIFA 21 and EA fans.
At the time of writing, Down Detector UK had received over 900 EA server down reports and over 500 FIFA server down reports.
As the rumored EA and FIFA 21 servers went down, gamers took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
“@EAFIFADirect are the fifa servers down or something?” one tweeted.
“Are EA servers down?” wrote another. In a Seasons match, FIFA can’t find me an opponent.”

Despite allegations from FIFA and EA that servers are down, the official EA FIFA 21 status website states that servers are up and functioning.

The reported FIFA server troubles follow the release of the current upgrade, title update 19, for PC and Stadia earlier this week.
