‘Enough’ Over a jibe, Sam Quek shuts down Olympic host Dan Walker.

SAM QUEK snubbed BBC Olympics co-host Dan Walker when he continued to mock her film knowledge, and she demanded that they return to hosting the Games.

On Friday morning, Olympic Breakfast hosts Dan Walker and Sam Quek engaged into a discussion about the well-known film The A-Team, but the BBC Breakfast host was taken aback when he discovered his co-star had not seen it. As Dan teased Sam with movie analogies, she became bored of it and ordered him to stop so they could concentrate on the Olympics coverage.

“Congratulations to the United States on earning gold in beach volleyball,” Sam said.

“And Dan, I have some exciting news for you. Because, if you didn’t notice, Dan told us that Mr T had been tweeting about how much he loved beach volleyball, and we tracked down the tweet, which you can see here.”

“Wow!” exclaimed Dan as he read the post. Congratulations, Ladies, on a job well done! You Deserve the Gold, @AprilRossBeach and @alixklineman! You showed up to the A-team with your “A” game! USA You made us proud every step of the way! #gold #theAteam @NBCOlympics @TeamUSA @usavolleyball @USAVBeach

“Do you recall the A Team, Sam?” says the narrator. He inquired of his co-host.

“Could you just say that in his voice?” she asked.

Dan replied in a fake voice, “I ain’t getting on no plane,” adding, “Which is pretty apt for the present travel limitations.” Do you know what a team is?”

“Ish,” Sam said as Dan continued, “Hannibal?” Isn’t it wonderful when a plan comes together?

Sam replied, “No, no, I don’t know.” “I remember Mr T, with the hair and all the jewelry,” says the narrator.

The Brits did a fantastic job!

The quartet has advanced to the 4x400m final after a very challenging heat!

While Sam stared blankly, Dan continued, “Oh dear, we need a television education for you Sam.”

“All right, that’s it!” She burst out laughing. “Enough of the A Team chit-chat.”

Sam unintentionally suggested a 15,000 meter race was coming up instead of a 1,500 meter event when the two were back on screens later.

“Let’s just forget about the Olympics today,” Dan remarked, laughing. “We’ll watch the A Team.”

“No, we won’t,” Sam quickly added. “We’re going to stick with the Olympics.”

Following Katy Marchant’s race, the two spoke with Chris Hoy, a former trek rider.
