End-credits scene in Black Widow: Florence Pugh teases a post-credits sequence.
BLACK WIDOW: The latest Marvel film’s post-credits scene reintroduced Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova before suggesting something terrifying for an Avengers member.
As Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) flew off to find Captain America (Chris Evans) and save her fellow Avengers, the last scenes of Black Widow were a little melancholy. This incident bridged the gap between the events of Civil War and the events of Avengers Infinity War, however it was the hero’s final adventure, as it resulted to her death. Yelena (Pugh) was seen visiting Natasha’s tomb in the post-credits scene of Black Widow, which takes place long after Avengers Endgame.
When Yelena was joined by her new employer, Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine, the headstone – which read Daughter, Sister, Avenger – became a little crowded (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).
Valentina began talking about business and stated that Hawkeye / Clint Barton will be Yelena’s next target (Jeremy Renner).
The plot of the Disney Plus TV program Hawkeye is effectively teased in this bombshell.
Pugh, who plays Yelena, recently spoke out about the film’s dramatic climax, stating she “didn’t know” she’d be in a post-credits sequence.
She went on to say, “[Yelena] is going to keep doing what she’s good at, and despite her sister’s absence, she’s back at work.”
“If you look at her costume and the way she dresses herself, it suggests someone who is flourishing,” Pugh concluded.
“So it was simply incredibly great to move ahead and find she had been surviving,” says the author.
“But, of course, that opens up a whole different challenge – which is Natasha’s fighting partner [Hawkeye],” the newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe added.
The death of Natasha will presumably pit Yelena against Hawkeye in the future Disney series.
Hawkeye and Natasha were great friends, therefore her sacrifice on the faraway planet Vormir to obtain the Soul Stone was sad.
But it was all for a good cause, as Thanos (Josh Brolin) was eventually defeated with the Soul Stone, along with the rest of the Infinity Stones, by the Avengers.
It’s unlikely that Yelena will stay a bad guy for long, but will she kill Hawkeye before becoming an Avenger?
With Yelena, to be precise. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
