Emmerdale’s Leyla Harding had a miscarriage and loses her husband Liam?
Leyla Harding of Emmerdale, who has been keeping her pregnancy a secret, will shortly learn that she has miscarried her unborn child.
Roxy Shahidi’s character, Leyla, recently found out she was pregnant with her husband Liam’s (Johnny McPherson) child. Leyla, on the other hand, decided not to inform Liam because she thought it would be too much for him to handle after his daughter Leanna (Mimi Slinger) died tragically earlier this summer. Will Leyla, on the other hand, chose to tell Liam about her miscarriage?
On the ITV serial, Liam has been struggling to come to terms with his daughter’s death, which has put a strain on his and Leyla’s marriage.
Leyla just took a pregnancy test after having her doubts and was surprised to find out she was pregnant.
But, given Liam’s recent loss of Leanne, Leyla decided to keep her pregnancy news to herself.
She’s kept the pregnancy a secret for now, but in an upcoming episode, Leyla feels discomfort and believes she’s having a miscarriage.
As she apologizes to Lorraine, Michelle Heaton breaks down.
Following her fears about her infant, Leyla is examined by nurse Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) in scenes that will appear next week.
Leyla persuades Wendy to skip Liam and arrange a scan for her straight so he does not find out, determined to protect Liam by coping with the ordeal herself.
However, Liam senses something is up with Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade) as she begins acting suspiciously when Leyla’s name is mentioned.
As a result, he resolves to confront Leyla about what’s been happening behind his back.
Leyla finally tells Liam that she suffered a miscarriage and that they had lost their baby.
Will Liam be able to put his pain aside and be there for his wife when she needs him the most?
Or will the pain of the miscarriage be too much for him to endure, thus dividing the couple?
Will Leyla and Liam be able to recover from this? They’ve already overcome so much together.
