During the filming of “Titanic,” Kate Winslet once flashed at Leonardo Dicaprio.

During the filming of Titanic, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio became like siblings.

They remain very similar to this day and still are one of Hollywood’s most famous celebrity friendships. But before they were as similar as they are now, on the first day of shooting, they were virtually strangers.

And believe it or not, Winslet stripping nude to be drawn like one of Jack’s “French girls.” was the first scene they ever had to film. While most people would find this painfully uncomfortable, Winslet knew just how to break the ice with DiCaprio…. By making him flash!

The best friends on set were Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Although one of the hottest couples in the cinema is Jack and Rose, DiCaprio and Winslet are very different from their characters in the movies.

That is, they have no interest in each other romantically.

The actors were consistently pranking each other on set, according to Rolling Stone. It also got to the point that it looked like DiCaprio was making a career out of teasing Kate Winslet.

“Grossing Kate out was Leo’s job,” says Billy Zane, who plays Winslet’s stuffy Titanic fiancé. “He got really good at it. When he wasn’t rolling back his eyelids, he was making art out of bodily fluids.”

But before they became best friends, when they filmed their first scene, DiCaprio and Winslet barely knew each other.

Winslet had to strip nude right in front of her co-star to make it even more uncomfortable.

But the redheaded starlet, thankfully, knew the best way to crack the ice.

Leonardo DiCaprio flashed at Kate Winslet before shooting her first scene.

The first scene that the cast and crew ever filmed featured the now-infamous nude sequence, according to James Cameron’s “Titanic” (the official BTS book).

“I was naked in front of Leo on the first day of shooting,” Winslet says in the novel.

“She had no shame about it,” says DiCaprio. “She wanted to break the ice a little bit beforehand, so she flashed me. I wasn’t prepared for that, so she had a head start on me. After that, I felt pretty comfortable.”

The ‘Titanic’ stars are now much closer than ever before.

“You jump, I jump, remember? I can’t turn away without knowing you’re going to be okay…all That’s I want.” pic.twitter.com/2dea22lu- Titanic (@TitanicMovie) September 3, 2012DiCaprio and Winslet are basically family twenty-four years later. In recent years, not only did Winslet call her “Titanic” co-star her “closest friend in the world,” DiCaprio also gave Winslet a ring of friendship to prove his love for her.

But it isn’t all that. Winslet shamelessly admitted that she and DiCaprio are already quoting each other’s Titanic lines, proving that our hearts will continue.

To Glamour, she revealed,

“We found ourselves saying to each other, ‘Can you imagine if the world really knew the stupid things we say?’ I won’t reveal what we actually talk about, but yes, we’re very, very close, and sometimes we quote a Titanic line or two to each other because only we can, and we think it’s really funny.”
