During the defeat in the Euro 2020 final, Declan Rice sends a transfer message to Manchester United and Chelsea.

Declan Rice shone for England at Euro 2020, but his future is up for grabs in the summer transfer window.

Declan Rice’s future at West Ham United is in jeopardy because of outside interest. The energetic midfielder enhanced his profile at Euro 2020 and could have increased his transfer value by a few million pounds.

The 22-year-old helped England reach the Euros final, appearing in every match for the Three Lions on their road to victory.

In the tournament’s final match, the Hammers’ midfielder put in another outstanding performance, demonstrating why he is at the center of a transfer squabble.

Manchester United and Chelsea are rumored to be interested in signing Rice, but West Ham have been emphatic that their star player would not be sold.

Rice’s manager, David Moyes, had stated that the club would only contemplate selling him for more than £100 million.

He stated, “I don’t believe [co-owners] David Sullivan, David Gold, or myself have any intention of losing Declan Rice.”

“Declan has played a significant role in that, and we want him to continue to play a big role in what we do next year.”

“For me, I’ve studied the pricing of other players who have just joined teams and they couldn’t lace Declan Rice’s boots,” he continued.

“I disagree with the owners’ assessment of Declan Rice as a £100 million footballer… “Much, much more than £100 million.”

And his performance at Euro 2020 could very well have assured that Moyes’ transfer prediction comes true.

To have any chance of securing a deal, United and Chelsea may have to smash their respective club-record transfer costs.

Rice excelled throughout the first 45 minutes of England’s showpiece match at Wembley, as Southgate’s side headed into halftime with a one-goal advantage.

As he and Kalvin Phillips effectively kept Roberto Mancini’s Italian midfield at bay, his driving runs and sense of discipline stood out once more.

In the first half, he won more duels (8) and executed more take-ons (3) than any other player on the field. Rice also made more tackles (3) than any other England player and was tied for second in ball recoveries. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
