‘Don’t hang your dirty clothing out to dry!’ Marina Sirtis of Star Trek says Harry and Meghan’s decision was “ill-advised.”
In an exclusive interview with This website, Star Trek great Marina Sirtis thinks that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were “ill-advised.”
Marina Sirtis, who starred as Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG), has spoken out on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to talk publicly about their lives as members of the Royal Family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made international news in March after their candid interview with Oprah Winfrey aired.
The pair discussed why they left the UK and fled royal life in their dramatic sit-down interview.
Marina, a Star Trek star who has recently returned to the United Kingdom after spending 30 years in the United States, has stated that she does not agree with individuals revealing their “dirty laundry.”
The 66-year-old claimed she agreed with Monaco’s Prince Albert II, who had earlier stated that the royal couple’s Oprah interview did not need to be “put out in the public realm.”
In response to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s open interview, Deanna Troi expressed concern that the couple would have “no going back.”
“I agree with Prince Albert of Monaco,” Marina stated. ‘It was a family affair, and it should have stayed in the family,’ he said.
“I don’t think people should air their dirty linen in public. It’s something I’ve never done before.
“I could say stuff about my family, but I’ll say it to them.”
“I believe they were ill-advised in doing this,” she continued. I’m concerned that they won’t be able to return.”
The Star Trek legend expressed her disappointment while also stating that she has always adored Prince Harry.
“I adored Harry,” Marina said. With the Invictus Games, his mental health work, and his insistence on travelling to Afghanistan while in the army to do his part.
“I used to think he was a legend, and then this happened.”
During the sit-down, which took place in an unknown location in Los Angeles, the couple discussed the challenges they encountered as senior royals, their lives in LA, and the fact that they are expecting their second child.
Since then, Prince Harry has given two more in-depth interviews, including one on Dax Shephard’s podcast Armchair Expert, in which he compared royal life to the Truman Show.
Ashley Monroe, 34, was recently diagnosed with a rare kind of blood cancer.
