During his heyday, DONNY OSMOND claimed that he was “banned” from Heathrow Airport.

Donny Osmond rose to prominence as a member of the American musical group The Osmonds in the early 1970s.

The singer recently sat down with Drew Barrymore, a Hollywood actress, to discuss his life and career.

At the height of his career, the 64-year-old said he was barred from Heathrow Airport.

Donny recalled the craze that ensued after crazed fans broke a balcony in order to get a glimpse of the star on The Drew Barrymore Show yesterday.

The musician claimed that airport personnel refused to land the plane, causing his flight to be diverted in one incident.

“Most people will never experience this,” Drew commented.

“I was captivated by a well-known story.

When you arrived at Heathrow Airport, the crowds were so large that the balcony collapsed under their weight.”

“And they wouldn’t let you fly into Heathrow any longer?” she added.

“I was kicked out of Heathrow,” Donny said.

“They said the plane won’t land in Heathrow if Donny Osmond is on board.”

“And they forced you to go to Scotland and take a train!” Drew interjected.

The teen idol had admittedly shut down London and needed to find another way into the country.

“We went to Scotland and took a train,” he confirmed, “a secret train.”

“That’s how I ended up in London.”

The Hollywood actress compared The Osmonds’ fanfare to Beatlemania.

“I was having a great time,” Donny said.

All of these young ladies are yelling your name.

What man wouldn’t want such a thing?

“They’re trying to get to me by getting past the cops and the barriers.”

And it’s like, ‘Yes, I love this life,'” she says.

Donny Osmond had a successful music career as a member of The Osmonds, and then went on to have a decades-long solo career.

The Masked Singer alum was in London last month to perform in Pantoland at The Palladium.

Over the years, the United Kingdom has become a second home for him.

The singer explained that he had been separated from his wife and children while they were in the United States.
