Doc Ock Knows Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, According to a New Spider-Man No Way Home TV Spot

Doc Ock Recognizes Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man in a New Spider-Man No Way Home TV Spot

Spider-Man: No Way Home has a new TV spot, which adds to the film’s mysterious multiverse puzzle.

Doctor Octopus, played by Alfred Molina in Spider-Man 2, returns in No Way Home, as one of several villains from previous Spider-Man films.

According to previous TV spots for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Molina’s Doc Ock knows a Spider-Man, but it’s not Tom Holland’s Peter Parker.

Doc Ock was expecting to see Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker under the mask, according to the latest TV spot for No Way Home.

The presence of Andrew Garfield, who has been vocal in his (repeated) denials that he will reprise his role as Spider-Man, is less certain:

“Listen, I’m not in the movie,” says the character.

I’ve always admired Spider-Man and was thrilled to be cast in the role.

Garfield told The TODAY Show, “I’m so excited to see what they do with the third one.”

“To be honest, I’m just like you.”

I really, really mean it when I say that’s not the diplomatic response.”

“Tom is my favorite…
