‘Didn’t know who he was!’ says Alexander Armstrong of his unpleasant encounter with the Dancing on Ice star.

According to newly discovered accounts, ALEXANDER ARMSTRONG allegedly had a “awkward” encounter with a fellow Dancing on Ice performer who had no idea who he was.

‘Iceland with Alexander Armstrong,’ a new travel series from the former Pointless star, premieres tonight. While the coronavirus pandemic has made international travel difficult for the previous 18 months, Alexander was able to complete the 8,000-mile trek due to numerous gaps and nations shifting to the green list. It brought him halfway around the Arctic Circle in the dead of winter, where he saw a plethora of natural beauty, learned about the far north’s magnetic pull, and even got in some swimming with the natives.

Alexander has made a number of appearances on television over the course of his distinguished career, and has been on our screens for decades.

He is most known for hosting Pointless, a game show in which members of the public appear on the show and answer specific questions about a variety of topics in the hopes of earning a cash reward every Wednesday.

He was once a member of the comedic team The Armstrong and Miller Show, alongside Ben Miller.

He’s also done voiceover work for Danger Mouse and Peppa Pig, among other shows.

However, not everyone is familiar with the celebrity.

For the second year in a row, he joined a lineup of fellow celebs and TV personalities for the show ‘The All New Monty: Who Bares Wins.’

Strictly Come Dancing’s Gorka Marquez was replaced early on by Matt Evers, a Dancing on Ice pro.

He stated to This website at the time that he had no idea who Alexander was when he met him, recalling an awkward interaction.

He stated: “I had no idea who he was when I met him on the first day… I enjoy putting a name to a face.” However, Matt claimed that after hearing Alexander talk, it finally dawned on him who he was.

“I was like, ‘Oh my God, you’re the voice,” he added.

Alexander’s voice was more familiar to me than his face.”

Matt asserted, though, that the meeting did not last long.

“Awkward moment when you meet someone and you’re like, ‘Oh, that’s you,'” he said, adding that the two “just joked about it.”

Matt also had some nice things to say about Alexander: “He is amazing, he is a huge support.” “..
