Davina McCall credits Masked Singer with saving her career.

DAVINA MCCALL revealed how she believes The Masked Singer saved her showbiz career after Covid threatened her.

Davina McCall, 54, has credited The Masked Singer with saving her career, which she admitted would have been over by now if it hadn’t been for the show.

On the hit ITV show, the presenter is a judge alongside Jonathon Ross, Rita Ora, and Mo Gilligan, and she revealed she’s feeling the magic again now that Covid restrictions for productions have been lifted.

By this point, I honestly believed that my career would be over.

Davina McCall is a British actress.

“What was crazy about last year is that I honestly thought my career would be over by this point,” the former Big Brother host said in a new interview.

“And I’ve never been so busy, but in a wonderful way.”

“I’m loving work so much, and thanks to the lighter restrictions, we’ve been able to work with a studio audience on The Masked Singer,” she beams as she tells The Daily Star.

“All of that stuff was magical.”

Davina is in a good place and “really happy” after recovering from a bout of Covid last year and resuming a somewhat normal routine with work and family life.

So much so that the fan-favorite host has stated that she is ready to “give a damn” about negative energy.

The TV star, with her carefree attitude toward life, is a breath of fresh air among the best of British celebrities, giving us the motivation we need to be our best selves.

Despite the fact that she is in her fifties, she has no intention of slowing down anytime soon – and why should she?

She has a busy new year ahead of her, including managing her Own Your Goals fitness app and releasing her latest edit with JD Williams, in addition to filming episodes for The Masked Singer.

However, she received backlash on social media earlier this year for some of her outfit choices on the talent show, after some viewers complained.

A long, semi-translucent black gown sparked debate.

In an interview with The Sun, Davina defended her attire, claiming that some people are willing to “complain about anything.”

“I have a line where I say, ‘I wouldn’t wear that, it’s too risky, or I don’t feel comfortable in it,'” she explained.

“I simply don’t believe any of them.”

“News from the Brinkwire.”

I honest to God thought that my career would be over by this point
