Daredevil: Woman Without Fear has been announced by Marvel.

This January, the second chapter of Elektra Natchios’ vigilante career as Daredevil begins. Daredevil: Woman Without Fear has been announced by Marvel Comics, and is based on Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.’s fan-favorite miniseries Daredevil: The Man Without Fear. Chip Zdarsky, the current Daredevil writer, collaborates with Rafael de Latorre on the series, which will tie into the impending Devils Reign storyline. Elektra’s promise not to kill is put to the test when she faces a new antagonist in the series. Three issues will make up the miniseries. Take a look at Chris Bachalo’s cover for the first issue, which you can see below.

The following is the issue’s synopsis: “The next thrilling episode in the saga of New York City’s Guardian Devil, featuring ELEKTRA as Daredevil this time!” Chip Zdarsky continues his monumental run and the DAREDEVIL story with Rafael De Latorre, which spins immediately off of the devastating revelations in DEVIL’S REIGN!”Elektra is the world’s deadliest assassin – and she’s taken a vow not to kill. Someone steps right in front of her, with fatal consequences. What else would you expect from the GREATEST HUNTER IN THE MARVEL UNIVERSE?!?” “When we were planning out Devils Reign, it became evident early on that Elektra’s story is too big to be contained in the main series!” Zdarsky said in a statement to ComicBook.com. Wilson Fisk has discovered her deepest secret, and I can’t wait for viewers to see the consequences in this series!” “Rafael is a tremendous revelation as an artist,” Zdarsky says of collaborating with de Latorre. Crisp, well-choreographed storytelling with a lovely sense of feeling. I truly believe they are Marvel’s next famous artist! “His Elektra is flawless!” What are your thoughts?
