Dan Walker apologizes for his muscly muscly muscly muscly muscly During the Instagram downtime, Strictly snap ‘gets stuck.’

DAN WALKER has apologized to a colleague journalist after a funny photo he shared on Instagram became “stuck” during today’s social media outage.

Dan Walker, the BBC Breakfast presenter, has been hard at work preparing for Strictly Come Dancing 2021 with his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova, but fans were not prepared for the pre-performance selfie he sent to Instagram. Due to the social media platform’s outage this evening, one sports journalist turned to Twitter to protest that the strange image had become trapped at the top of her Instagram feed.

Dan, 44, is shown in the photo clothed head to toe in a skintight muscle suit, which he claims was offered to him for his Saturday night performance.

“I’ve been asked whether I want to wear a muscle suit for tonight’s dance…” Dan captioned the photo with a mischievous grin. “I said no.”

In violation of the wardrobe department’s advice, he then used the hashtag #YouGetWhatMumGaveMe.

Sports journalist Alison Mitchell, one of his 226,000 followers, shared an image of the Instagram photo on Twitter.

“With Instagram down, my feed is stuck on this,” she wrote, adding startled and laughing emojis to her message.

Dan answered with another laughing emoji, “I’m so sorry.”

The two journalists’ brief discussion elicited a flurry of humorous responses from their respective audiences.

“My eyes, my eyes!” wrote @GlynnR54.

“Dan broke Insta all over the world, Boris Johnson beat that,” @DempsterGavin joked.

Due to a worldwide outage of Facebook’s social media giants Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp – all of which are owned by Facebook – the image became “stuck.”

Although no official reason has been offered for the outage, network experts suspect it may be due to a problem with Facebook’s domain name system.

The original Instagram photo also sparked debate about if other male contenders were also covertly putting on the fake muscles beneath their clothes.

Chris Stark of BBC Radio One posed the following question to Dan in the comments section of the post: “Is this anything that exists? I’m in a tizzy. Who’s the guy in the muscle suit?” Others applauded him for embracing the natural look rather than stepping confidently onto the dancing as a 6 foot 6 gladiator wearing guyliners.

Dan and Nadiya, a professional dancer, did a powerful Paso Doble this week, earning them an extra two points. “Brinkwire News Summary.”
