Damian Lewis has returned to set following the devastating death of his wife Helen McCrory.
DAMIAN Lewis smiled as he returned to work for the first time since his wife Helen McCrory died tragically.
This Monday, the 50-year-old veteran actor returned to the set of the hit Sky TV drama Billions in London. It’s only been four months since he made the shocking revelation that his beloved Helen had died of cancer at the age of 52, “after a courageous battle.”
In the meantime, the Homeland and Band of Brothers star is said to have been caring for their two teenage children, Manon, 14, and Gulliver, 13. Damian had been married to Helen for 14 years, and the couple was dedicated to each other. Helen was well recognized for her roles in Peaky Blinders and Harry Potter.
She had sworn family and friends to secrecy about her condition and begged her spouse to “find love again,” it was later revealed.
Billions is a drama about power politics in the world of New York high finance, and it stars Paul Giamatti, 54.
Because of Covid, Season 5 was put on hold.
The final five episodes will be broadcast later this year.
