Craig Rowe, who co-hosts the popular Channel 4 property show with Leah Charles-King, is the show’s newest presenter.
Last year, they joined the program shortly after Lee Juggurnauth, a newcomer.
Craig mentioned his love of dance when discussing his background.
“I used to be in a dance company in London, and we used to put on shows,” he said.
“I’ve done male pole dancing for a while and danced on stage at concerts all over the place.”
The star went on to say that he had three jobs at one point, including one as a dancer, to help him get on the property ladder.
“I bought my first property in London with my sister when I was 25,” he said.
“At the time, neither of us had the financial means to purchase ourselves.”
He told The Daily Star, “We both had three jobs at the time and we just decided to buy somewhere together in North West London, and that spurred my love for property.”
Craig began his career in the real estate industry when he was just 18 years old, when he joined the travel company Travelsphere.
The star expressed his excitement about joining APITS, telling Channel 4 that it’s his “dream job.”
“I’m overjoyed to join the presenter team for ‘A Place in the Sun!'” he said.
“It’s my dream job! I’ve loved travel since I was a teenager, and I’ve had a passion for property since I bought my first flat in London 20 years ago!”
He went on to say that helping people find their dream home in the sun gives him a “high.”
Rowe, who was in his 30s at the time, decided to take a year off work and travel around the world, visiting places like Australia, Thailand, Singapore, and the United States.
