Craig Revel Horwood is looking forward to the return of Strictly Come Dancing after Covid ‘put a damper’ on it.
CRAIG REVEL HORWOOD has revealed that he is looking forward to Freedom Day, when the UK’s coronavirus limitations will be repealed, because it would allow the famed Strictly Come Dancing “curse” to return.
Craig Revel Horwood, 56, of Strictly Come Dancing, has revealed that the BBC show’s tight Covid bubbles placed a “dampener” on prospective relationships blooming last year. Craig added that, as Independence Day approaches, he is most looking forward to the return of the infamous Strictly “curse” in the 2021 series.

“It took the edge off the Strictly curse.”
The curse is a word used to describe a celebrity or professional dancer’s relationship breaking down during or shortly after the show.
Craig went so far as to claim that he “looks forward” to the show’s infamous “curse” every year.
“I look forward to the curse every year because I never think of it as a curse, I always consider it a blessing,” he told The Mirror.
“Isn’t it better to meet someone at work?” You’re dancing with someone you’re getting to know and falling in love with.
“That’s preferable to a dating app.
“These days, everyone has to meet that way.”
After being matched together for the 2018 program, couples including Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton became an item as a result of the “curse.”
After meeting on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez began dating.
The couple is now engaged, and they have a daughter named Mia.
In 2018, Katya Jones and Seann Walsh made headlines when they were photographed kissing after Strictly rehearsals.
Katya was married to fellow Strictly star Neil Jones at the time, while comedian Seann was dating Rebecca Humphries for a long time.
Following the release of the images, Seann and Rebecca divorced, while Neil and Katya announced their separation in 2019 after 11 years of marriage.
Kissing between professional dancers and celebrities will not be allowed during the coronavirus epidemic, according to a BBC insider who spoke to The Sun ahead of the 2020 extravaganza.
Contestants were reportedly warned by producers to follow strict anti-coronavirus precautions.
