For the third season, Maridueña voiced his worries, but they were quickly put to rest.

Season 3 of Cobra Kai is available on Netflix now.

Miguel and Johnny are at odds in Season 3 of ‘Cobra Kai’

Cobra Kai started when the dojo was re-opened by Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) to teach Miguel karate.

Johnny wanted to teach his students the advantages of grace following an unsportsmanlike win at the All Valley Karate Tournament.

This culminated in Miguel ending up in the hospital when Robby (Tanner Buchanan) showed mercy and Robby did not reciprocate.

‘Cobra Kai’: How Xolo Maridueña, Peyton List, Mary Mouser and Jacob Bertrand say that in Season 3 they made the battles more intense

“I think like any role model, Miguel instilled a lot of confidence in Johnny with his word,” Maridueña said. If, at the critical moment, that backfires, it will really be a test for their partnership.

Luckily, I think they’ve been through enough to make things happen, but I don’t think it’s going to go away without some difficulties.

Johnny is also attempting to speed up the recovery of Miguel.

This exacerbates the discord.

‘Cobra Kai’: What about Johnny and Carmen next?

He wants to make Johnny happy more than anything.

One of the toughest choices he made, for that reason, was to show compassion to Robby. The fact that he got kicked off the balcony for it, I think he’ll hate Johnny a little bit, just like anyone else. You’re the one I trust the most, and I did what you said, and it’s still happening to me, so how can I trust you anymore? I think that’s going to be a question in season 3 that’s going to be posed in multiple ways, but I hope it’s not something Miguel and Johnny can’t find out. Xolo Maridueña’s doubts about Season 3.

Maridueña had its own doubts heading into the third season after the dramatic cliffhanger of Cobra Kai season 2. He was worried that Miguel would be laid off all season long.

The show has found a way to show him in motion even though his character is in the hospital.

‘Cobra Kai’ star Ralph Macchio responds in season 3 to Mr. Miyagi’s letters

“In the beginning, I was very, very excited because I got to do stunt work for my dream sequence in the first episode,” Maridueña said. It was super exciting but one of the big downsides, I think, was that I felt, oh damn, for a moment, I’m not going to be able to do any more stunts.

But I got a chance to reenact some of the All Valley Tournament battles in the first episode, which was pretty fun, and they put a new twist on it, which I really enjoyed.

For too long, ‘Cobra Kai’ has not left Xolo Maridueña restless.

It didn’t seem like Maridueña had to spend too much time in the hospital.

While at the end of the season opener, Miguel has yet to be discharged,’ Cobra Kai’ was able to quickly get all of its hospital scenes finished.

‘Cobra Kai’ star Vanessa Rubio thought that when they proposed this scene from season 2, the writers were kidding.

After that, I felt like the rest went pretty quickly. By the fifth episode, I felt like I had filmed a lot of my scenes in one piece. But it didn’t really seem like much time had elapsed. When you see it on screen, you think, ‘Oh crap, he’s in the hospital for a couple of episodes,’ but I feel like since we had all the scripts up front, we were able to just put a lot of the shooting together.
