Cleaning: Mrs Hinch fans share their tips on how to dust your home fan – it’s ‘simple to do!’
Cleaning experts have provided some tips on how to clean your fan. During the summer, fans are frequently used, which means they collect dust. This hack, according to Mrs Hinch followers, is “simple to do.”
Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, rose to reputation as a cleaning expert after sharing her cleaning ideas and advice on social media and television. The cleaning pro currently has over 4.1 million Instagram followers and has written many books. Her devotees have already formed their own social media groups dedicated to cleaning and organizing advice.
A user in one of the groups inquired about how to clean their fan.
“Can somebody tell me how to clean the dust off the blades, please?” they asked. I have no idea how to open it.”
The cleaning fan posted a picture of their silver fan with dusty blades.
Mrs Hinch fans flooded the article with comments, immediately instructing the user on how to disassemble their fan.
“Unclip and use a brush attachment on your hoover and hoover the worst off,” one person wrote.
“Then wipe the rest with a microfiber cloth.”
“There should be a screw on the front of your fan,” someone else said.
“It unscrews, and you can remove it, wash it, and then replace it.”
“The cage comes out, so detach the blades, wash, dry, and replace,” a third user explained. It’s easy to do.”
“Unclip at the bottom of the cage,” wrote a fourth. Remove the cage from the room.
“There is a cap in the middle of the blades that you unscrew by hand.
“After that, clean the blades individually. My fan is the same as yours. It’s quite simple.”
Another person offered a similar method: “You may disassemble it and wash all of the blades.”
“Go around the edge and you will find a clip to open it, (I can see it in the picture, it’s at the bottom of the fan holding the front and rear together),” a sixth individual added.
