Cleaning carpets: A Mrs Hinch fan shares a ‘simple’ carpet cleaning tip that involves a fork.

Cleaning products for carpets are available in most stores, however they are not necessarily inexpensive. Homeowners have revealed an inexpensive carpet refresher made from common home products.

To keep carpets appearing new, they should be vacuumed and cleaned on a regular basis. Mrs Hinch fans have shared carpet-cleaning tips that include using a fork and a hairdryer.

Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, has prompted residents to share their housekeeping secrets.

She made a name for herself as a cleaning guru by sharing basic and inexpensive cleaning tricks on the internet.

Her Instagram following has grown to 4.1 million people.

Others have been encouraged to start their own social media profiles dedicated to the cleaning expert as a result of this.

One woman revealed a cleaning technique she discovered in a Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group.

She demonstrated how to spruce up a carpet and make it appear brand new.

She only needed a fork and a hairdryer, and she didn’t have to use any cleaning products.

“If you have matted carpets or bits that need to be brought back to life, here is what I did with materials you’ll undoubtedly have in the house,” she wrote.

“[Use] a fork (or spoon), a hairdryer, and a spray bottle,” says the author (I just cleaned an old one out thoroughly).

“A teaspoon of fabric softener is an optional product.

“The process is time-consuming, but it is worthwhile (especially since professional carpet cleaners are unable to operate at this time).”

The social media user went into detail about how she revived the carpets.

She first requested that residents spray the damaged area with warm water.

Then kids can pull along the carpet fibers with the side of a fork or a spoon to lift them.

Finally, use a hairdryer to dry the spot and repeat the process throughout the carpet.

The homeowner posted photos of herself before and after implementing the hack.

The post received a lot of likes, and several people expressed interest in testing out the hack.

Cleaning hacks can be found for a reasonable price by searching the internet.

There are numerous strategies that provide results without the need to purchase costly carpet cleaning chemicals.
