Claire Fraser, who plays Claire Fraser in the Starz series Outlander, advises that there is “no place for divas” on set.

Caitriona Balfe is best known for her role as time traveller doctor Claire Fraser in the Starz series OUTLANDER, in which she has starred with a number of guest actors.

Caitriona Balfe and co-star Sam Heughan, who plays highlander hero Jamie Fraser, have appeared in a number of Outlander guest roles throughout the years, including Laura Donnelly as Jenny Fraser, Tobias Menzies as Frank Randall, and Graham McTavish as Dougal MacKenzie. Caitriona stressed to her co-stars that the group does not tolerate “divas” on site and advised against any egos.

Caitriona first featured in Outlander in the pilot episode in 2014, and she has since become a regular.

Claire’s love story with Jamie has enthralled television viewers as well as lovers of Diana Gabaldon’s books of the same name.

The actress has always been open about her work on the show, and in a previously unreleased interview, she advised against diva behavior.

“Our casting is done by Suzanne Smith, and there has never been a bad note,” Caitriona explained.

“They’re not just great performers, but they’re also really cool people. We usually joke that if someone isn’t cool when they walk onto our set, they’ll hear about it immediately.

“There is no room for divas, and there is no room for egos.

“Everyone who comes on is incredible, and we have a fantastic vibe on set. Everyone just appears, and they’re all amazing actors.

“We work extremely hard, and you’re there a lot, so having that fantastic energy that comes in from other people keeps us encouraged, enthusiastic, and ready to take on new challenges because it keeps things fresh all the time.”

“That’s crucial because when you’re getting like 10 months into 14-hour days all the time, I can picture things getting a little old or you wouldn’t come with that fire every day on something with less changeable, I don’t know.

She added to Gold Derby, “I’m extremely delighted it’s the way it is.”

Caitriona Balfe has finished production for the sixth season of Outlander, which will premiere in early 2022.

When Starz decided to post a behind-the-scenes photo of the actress who plays Claire in her beloved operation, fans went crazy.

“Behind the scenes at Claire’s happy place,” the official Outlander Twitter account wrote (and mine, to be honest). #Outlander.”
