Christy Giles, a popular young model, was discovered dead at the age of 24.

Christy Giles, a renowned Instagram model in the Los Angeles region, died after a night out with her friend and designer Marcela Cabrales-Arzola. A trio of “masked males” recorded on tape dropped off the 24-year-old model and Cabrales-Arzola at separate hospitals on Saturday. According to PEOPLE, Giles died at the hospital, where she was found motionless outside while her buddy was kept alive on life support.

Giles’ autopsy has been done, but there are little facts about her cause of death. The model’s “cause and manner are deferred,” according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, “as is done for many of our cases that are pending additional information andor testing.” christy lee (@christygilesx) shared a post. Jan Cilliers, the model’s husband, told ABC7 that her iCloud messages on her phone indicated a message to Cabrales-Arzola at 5:30 a.m., but no further checks or messages after that. Cilliers was not in town at the time of the model’s death, nor was he linked to the trio of accused kidnappers caught on camera. “Detectives are investigating the event as an undetermined fatality,” according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department.

Despite the fact that LAPD investigators believe Giles died of an overdose, her husband believes the situation was far more sinister. Cilliers and Carly Amos launched a GoFundMe to give their alleged perspective on the night in issue. “Christy and her companion Hilda were allegedly drugged on Saturday, November 13th. Christy was dropped off on the sidewalk of a hospital 12 hours later by three males dressed in full black, masked in bandanas, and without license plates. Christy had already lost consciousness and had been pronounced dead on the scene. Her buddy, Hilda, was dropped off at a separate hospital two hours later in the same vehicle with two masked guys. Hilda is currently struggling for her life in a severe state.” According to the GoFundMe description: “This isn’t a one-of-a-kind story. Since Saturday, we’ve all gotten a slew of communications from other women who have eerily identical experiences to Christy and Hilda’s, with the exception that they all survived.” christy lee (@christygilesx) shared a post. The GoFundMe page continues to state that the cash will be used for “private investigators, funerals, and… Summary of Brinkwire News about the entertainment industry.
