Choi Yujin was elected as leader, and Mashiro Sakamoto was elected as co-leader, by Kep1er members.

Members of Mnet’s survival show’s winning group, Kep1er, went live for the first time to greet fans and make some important announcements.

Choi Yujin, Shen Xiaoting, Sakamoto Mashiro, Kim Chaehyun, Kim Dayeon, Ezaki Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Seo Youngeun, and Kang Yeseo are the nine members of the K-pop group Kep1er who are currently active members after being voted as the top nine contestants on the show.

On November 19, the show’s tenth-ranking member Kim Sooyeon, who narrowly missed a spot on the team by one place, made headlines when she was chosen by the label Mystic Story to be the seventh member of the recently debuted girl group Billlie.

On November 18, Kep1er members went live on YouTube to communicate with fans, and they piqued fans’ interest by revealing that they have some “major announcements” to make.

Sorn, a former member of Kep1er member Choi Yujin’s old group CLC, announced her departure from the group.

Fans wondered if Yujin’s appearance in Kep1er influenced Sorn’s decision, and if Yujin would confirm or deny the rumors.

Kep1er’s leader is Choi Yujin.

Despite the fact that Yujin did not confirm or deny any CLC rumors, she did provide fans with some incredible news.

Fans of Kep1er began their first live broadcast by introducing themselves.

Members began voting for the group’s leader after each member individually greeted fans.

Following a unanimous decision, Xiaoting, the group’s Chinese member, announced that, due to the group’s size, they would have not one, but two leaders.

Choi Yujin was elected as Kep1er’s new leader, but Yujin stated, “We are a large family, so I believe the role of a leader who will be the center is important.” She also added, “Thank you.”

I have a lot of weaknesses, but I believe I can succeed if I have the right people on board.

Yujin then surprised the rest of the group by addressing Mashiro Sakamoto, a Japanese member, and asking her to be the group’s co-leader.

“If there is a leader, there must be a co-leader,” Yujin explained.
