Tanya Roberts, best known as “Bond Girl” and Midge Pinciotti on The ’70s Show, died at age 65 on Jan. 3, 2021. The co-stars of Roberts from That ’70s Show lament her absence.

Tanya Roberts was a multi-generational icon.

Roberts was born Victoria Leigh Blum in October 1955, before she became known as Midge Pinciotti. She started her career as a model, appearing in off-Broadway roles for brands such as Clairol and Excedrin, and then began acting.

Later in her career, Roberts became popular as a substitute for Shelley Hack in season 5 of the television series “Charlie’s Angels.” In 1985, Roberts played the famous Bond girl Stacey Sutton in A View to a Kill.

In 1998, Roberts earned a new generation of fans when The ’70s Show aired on FOX. Roberts will be best known for her role as Midge Pinciottic, the mother of Bond Girl Donna (Laura Prepon).

Roberts chose to quit the series in 2001 to care for her terminally ill partner, Barry Roberts, despite her beloved role in That ’70s Show.

In 1974, the two were married and were together until Barry died in 2006.

The cause of the death of Tanya Roberts is currently unknown.

Roberts was walking her dogs on Christmas Eve when she died, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In Los Angeles, Roberts was admitted to Cedar-Sinar Hospital and died on Sunday, January 3, 2021.

Mike Pingel, Roberts’ close friend and delegate, told the outlet that Roberts’ death had nothing to do with the coronavirus (COVID-19).

“I am devastated,” the outlet told Pingel. She was bright and stunning, and it seemed to me like a light had been taken away.

It would be at the top of the list to say she was an angel. She was the sweetest person you’d ever meet and had a big heart. She loved her fans, and I think she didn’t know how much she meant to them.

The official cause of Roberts’ death has not been published at this time.
