Carol Vorderman, 60, asks for assistance as she struggles with stair climbing following a traumatic accident.
CAROL VORDERMAN has appealed for assistance in an Instagram post, admitting she was struggling with the stairs in her house in Wales today after sustaining a terrible injury.
Carol Vorderman, 60, of Countdown fame, has resorted to Instagram to express her misery over exercise-induced muscle damage. Due to her injuries, the maths specialist, who created a gym at her home in Wales during lockdown to stay active, told her 126,000 followers that she was having difficulty getting up and down the stairs today.
Carol mentioned that she was in discomfort because her most recent workout was her first “major gym session” in a long time.
“Had my first BIG gym workout in a few weeks yesterday,” she remarked on Instagram Stories.
“Oooooohhh… this morning’s legs and butt.
“Walking like a sensitive cowboy… ouch,” says the narrator. Don’t even bring up the stairwell!!!!
The actress then appealed for help, accompanied by multiple laughing face emojis.
Carol also used Twitter to discuss her troubles with her 466,000 followers, writing: “Morning….had first BIG gym workout for weeks yesterday “……#HurtyStairs this morning…..ouchy legs and stuff!!!
“I love it, though,” she explained, “the gym that is.”
Carol’s fans left their best wishes in the comments section of her tweet.
“Well done you, not a gym person but went for my first walk in a month or so and I am suffering today!!!” one person wrote. “Good morning gorgeous…they say no pain no gain… while you enjoy it keep going… Big love,” a third admirer wrote. “Chin up Miss.” A fourth fan wrote: “So worth it Vorders you truly do look absolutely gorgoues!” To be serious for a moment.”(sic) Carol’s followers advised her not to “overdo it” when she said she was too fatigued to move earlier this year.
It came after the actress posted a video of herself on her sofa at home after completing an 11-mile walk for the second consecutive day.
“I’m knackered,” Carol said in the video. I’ve walked about 11 miles, which is similar to what I did yesterday.
“And I only have approximately five minutes till my weight-training session with Gus [her personal trainer].”
” The star exclaimed at that point.
Carol then went on to give her fans an update on her progress after one hour of weight training.
