Captain America’s ending wasn’t what it looked in Avengers: Endgame, thanks to a plot flaw.

According to a new idea, a plot hole in the AVENGERS ENDGAME shows that Captain America’s ending wasn’t entirely what Steve Rogers had envisioned.

Captain America restored the Infinity Stones to their original locations in the past at the end of Avengers: Endgame. Steve Rogers, on the other hand, had missed his window to 2023 and had instead chosen to live in the 1940s with Peggy Carter. After years of serving others, this was supposed to be the calm life he had envisioned.

However, a new idea claims that what happened off-screen in Avengers: Endgame is a massive narrative hole.

According to Screen Rant, Captain America would only have two options in this new timeline: go public or go underground.

Steve and Peggy could have declared that he had been thawed much sooner after being frozen during WWII, while his variation was still frozen.

Due to his commitment to service, the Avenger would have had to resume his responsibilities as Captain America.

Captain America, on the other hand, would still struggle to live a tranquil life if he had decided to keep his existence a secret in the 1940s.

Peggy would still be working for S.H.I.E.L.D., and her friends and family would no certainly notice that her spouse resembled Steve.

This would need him to live as a recluse, while his wife pretended to be single.

But, beyond this notion, there may be a solution for Marvel to close this apparent plot hole in Avengers: Endgame.

Captain America’s actions wouldn’t effect the Sacred Timeline’s future because he likely went back in time and created a new reality with a different Peggy.

So he could have gone public with the fact that he’d thawed early, but he’d decided to retire and live a quiet life with his wife instead.

Of course, he’d have to go back to the Sacred Timeline to give Sam Wilson his shield in 2023.

When would be the greatest moment to accomplish this, but before his variation thawed in the 2011 timeline?

Of course, the inhabitants of that alternate reality would subsequently learn that there were two Caps, but Steve from the Sacred Timeline would have already fled.
