Call of Duty update time disclosed for Season 5 of Cold War.
As part of a series of new upgrades going online this week, COLD War Season 5 promises five new multiplayer maps, four new weapons, and a ton of crossover content to share with Zombies and Call of Duty Warzone.
The first Call of Duty title to be upgraded for Season 5 will be Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War this week.
But just because it’ll be the first game to get a patch – Warzone will follow 24-hours later – doesn’t guarantee it’ll gain early access.
Instead, Season 5 of Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War will be released on the same day.
However, in order to avoid overloading servers, Treyarch and Raven Software chose to release Call of Duty updates 24 hours apart.
This prevents a wild rush to get access to the new Cold War Season 5 content by simultaneously upgrading two enormous games.
And there’s reason to believe that gamers will return to both games for the start of Season 5.
Cold War will receive five new multiplayer maps, some of which will be known to Black Ops aficionados, as previously stated.
Echelon will be a 6v6 experience that will be accessible at the start of Season 5 and will take some time to master.
With Slums, Zoo, and Drive-In taken from the first two Black Ops games, the others might provide COD players a few more hints on where to go when exploring the various places.
Each map’s official description includes the following information:
Take to the streets and fight your way through this tight three-lane retro layout, which completes Season Five’s three Multiplayer maps.
Slums is a map in Call of Duty: Black Ops II that takes place deep within Panama City, where a town center with a central fountain attracts long-range warfare across lanes as well as plenty of aerial Scorestreak bombardments.
Get your popcorn ready for the return of Drive-In, a cult classic from the original Black Ops, set in a movie drive-in out in an abandoned midwestern United States ghost town, shortly after the Season Five launch window.
Drive-In has been remastered for the first time as part of the Black Ops Annihilation Map Pack to commemorate its 10-year anniversary. It includes close-quarters combat and significant overwatch spots, particularly around the huge screen of the. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
