‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ cast members yelled during the talent show, but Jemele Hill reveals why.
When the cast of Below Deck Mediterranean was asked to go on a talent show, they may have groaned, but charter guest Jemele Hill stated it was done in the sake of entertainment fun.
Due to the coronavirus, the guests and crew were limited in their entertainment options this season (Covid-19).
On land, excursions and bar hopping were suspended, so Hill said that they were only trying to come up with a strategy to liven up their vacation.
Jemele Hill asked for a talent show for a reason.
Hill is a big admirer of Below Deck, so she was aware of how prior charters permitted passengers to bring their own entertainment or have a party in town.
This year, though, things were a little different, and not everyone in her party was familiar with the show. “Because everyone on the tour had never heard of Below Deck,” she explained. “So we were trying to come up with something to do.” I said to myself, “We’ve got to do something different on this trip.” They didn’t show the one thing we did in Thailand, but we had some entertainers come in.” Hill’s second trip in the series is Below Deck Med. She was the final charter on Season 7 of Below Deck, which was also her bachelorette celebration. Because Season 7 of Below Deck was shot before to the epidemic, she got to experience all of the regular trappings of a Below Deck holiday.
“We had to do something,” she remarked, “because we couldn’t really get off the yacht.” “I mean, we did have a beach picnic or a castle lunch,” says the narrator. So I was simply like, “You know, we all have to do something,” as I put it. So we just tossed some ideas around. I believe we may have gotten some ideas from the producers.
Then we had the brilliant notion of putting on a talent show.”
