Before the finale, Shetland’s DI Jimmy Perez teases conflict over Donna Killick’s return.
Douglas Henshall, who plays Detective Jimmy Perez on SHETLAND, has spoken out about the upcoming episodes, predicting major conflict.
Shetland returned to BBC One after a long hiatus due to COVID-19.
Season five premiered with frontman Detective Jimmy Perez (played by Douglas Hensall), who teased that there could be more conflict and tensions ahead, despite the fact that he has been solving crimes this season.

The photo was also dated the day after Lizzie went missing, which made police suspicious.
Donna admitted to killing Lizzie after an interrogation and claimed she snapped because Lizzie threatened to tell Duncan about her affair with Duncan.
Donna will be released despite being convicted of murder and serving time in prison.
In a recent interview with the BBC, Douglas discussed it and was asked how his character felt about the return.
“He’s waiting to see what happens,” the actor said.
