Before the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, Fortnite hosts a Martin Luther King event.

Today marks the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr’s legendary I Have A Dream speech, and FORTNITE has started a Martin Luther King Jr event.

Fortnite has launched a celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. today.

In just a few days, it will be the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have A Dream” speech. On August 28, 1963, he gave a speech to nearly 250,000 people from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC.

Dr. Martin Luther King’s passionate words are one of history’s most famous addresses, and they represented a watershed event in the civil rights movement.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed the next year, followed by the Voting Rights Act of 1965, another world-changing event for which Dr. King protested.

In the days leading up to the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous I Have A Dream Speech, Fortnite is hosting a tribute to the great civil rights leader.

March Through Time is a Fortnite Creative exclusive that transports players to that key period in history.

Players can explore a reconstructed recreation of DC in 1963, listen to the speech, and visit a museum dedicated to the civil rights struggle in Fortnite.

“Celebrate the life and work of Nobel Peace Prize recipient Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in a new interactive experience offered by TIME Studios,” the Fortnite team wrote in a web article. March Through Time, created by community users in Fortnite Creative, immerses players in the totality of Dr. King’s monumental “I Have A Dream” speech and the history around it.”

As part of the Fortnite MLK event, there will also be collaborative objectives and an unlocked DC 63 spray.

ChaseJackman, GQuanoe, XWDFr, and YU7A are members of the Fortnite Creative community who created March Through Time.

You can enter this immersive adventure by entering the island code 3815-8892-143 or searching the Discover Menu for the March Through Time tile.

“The experience extends with museum-inspired areas of interest, as well as collaborative mini-game tasks you accomplish with others,” Epic Games noted. These tasks help players progress through the game and bring to life key themes from Dr. King’s address, such as how we can move forward when we work together.

“Completing the difficulties associated to Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement will grant you access to a D.C. 63 Locker spray.”

“Brinkwire Summary News” isn’t it.
