Bachelor Nation’s Stars to Run the NYC Marathon in 2021
On Sunday, November 7, several Bachelor Nation alumni ran the 2021 New York City Marathon — see photos from the race here.
After months of preparation, runners, including several Bachelor Nation alumni, have descended on New York City to take on the daunting 26.2-mile 2021 NYC Marathon.
Tayshia Adams, a former Bachelorette, has been documenting her marathon training on social media, as she prepares to run her first marathon.
“I’ll admit, training for this has been difficult and far from what I imagined,” the Bachelor in Paradise alum wrote on Instagram in November 2021.
“Regardless of my excuses, I’m proud of myself for showing up when I could.
Whether it was early in the morning or late at night, right after getting off an 8-hour flight, in the rain, on a hotel treadmill while traveling for work, or after filming all night long, I was committed to getting it done however or wherever I could, and as a result, I can enter Sunday’s race with pride.”
“My marathon time isn’t going to be groundbreaking, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be cursing my way through some of it, but at the end of the day, this isn’t about me,” she continued in her post.

Adams was running to raise money for World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization.
The Bachelorette cohost isn’t the only former cast member to take on the challenging race; her fiancé Zac Clark, who is on his eighth marathon, is one of them.
(Both of them finished in 4:40:24 seconds.)
The founder of Release Recovery had even run the London Marathon to raise funds for his organization just a month before.
