As they disclose a devastating family loss, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have received an outpouring of solidarity.
JOHN LEGEND and Chrissy Teigen have been flooded with letters of support since announcing the death of their pet dog Pippa.
Chrissy Teigen, John Legend’s wife, posted a photo of herself with her arms around their puppy Pippa and a smile for the camera. She said the “lovely little” puppy had died in her arms to her 34.9 million followers. “I recall picking her up in Gainesville and photographing our ride home when she was ten,” she wrote.
“She was a sassy lass who wore her pearl necklace with pride and never gave a damn about any new dog we brought in.
“Our road dog, Sade, who has been a tour dog for many years. We were enamored with her.
“We adore you, sweetheart. I’m sure you’re giving Puddy a hard time up there.
“Thank you for sharing your entire life with us.”

Many of Chrissy’s followers swarmed to her Instagram post to express their love for her.
“I’m very sorry, Chrissy,” one person said. “My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.”
“Awwwwww Pippa, you’re so sweet! A second added, “Sending Love.”
“I am so sorry,” wrote a third. I’m sending all of my love to you and your family.”
“I’m so sorry, Chrissy!” said a fourth. She was just adorable! I’m sending a big hug your way.”
As a tribute, the All Of Me singer posted a photo of himself with Pippa on his Instagram page.
When John and Chrissy’s dog Puddy died in 2018, they were left with even more grief.
The couple owned their dog for more than a decade and frequently posted photos of him on social media.
The model earlier posted a photo of Pippa and Puddy “marrying.”

John and Chrissy dressed up their dogs as bride and groom and staged a wedding-themed pool party.
“Not many people know this, but Puddy is survived by his wife, Pippa,” she wrote at the time. They were married, yes.”
Chrissy was pregnant with Miles, the couple’s second child, at the time of their first dog’s death.
Luna is the couple’s five-year-old daughter, whom they married in 2013.
Chrissy posts photos of her family on Instagram on a regular basis.
