As she watches her children grow, Holly Willoughby admits to ‘losing touch’ with herself.

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY opened up about her children after admitting on Saturday Kitchen that she had “lost touch” with who she was.

Holly Willoughby, a TV presenter, appeared on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen with Matt Tebbutt.

Tebbutt grilled Holly on her new biographical book, Reflections, while the TV chef prepared a rascasse-inspired dish.

For the past 12 years, the daytime host has collaborated with Phillip Schofield on ITV’s This Morning.

While discussing the book’s inspiration, the TV star admitted that as she watched her children grow up, she had “completely lost touch” with herself.

Holly married Daniel Baldwin in 2007, who was also an executive producer on ITV’s Celebrity Juice, on which she also appeared.

The mother of three began by saying, “I think the book is a real marker in the sand of where I find myself in life.”

“I mean, I turned 40 last year, and I think I had some time to just sit with myself, and my kids have reached a certain age,” she says.

“And I think I was like, ‘God, I’ve got them all off to school,'” she says.

‘They’ve sort of reached a certain age,’ she continued, ‘and then I was left with some free time, and I just realized I’d completely lost touch with who I am as a person.’

“I didn’t even know what music I liked anymore, and I just felt like I’d coasted through this period and done a fantastic job of raising the kids, going to work, and doing everything else.”

Willoughby’s showbiz career began when he was 14 years old, when he was spotted at a Clothes Show fashion event in Birmingham.

She was discovered by the Storm modeling agency and soon appeared on the covers of publications like Mizz.

After raising her three children, Chester (seven), Belle (ten), and Harry (12), the former model spoke out on a morning cooking show about her struggles.

“I was still happy,” Holly explained, “but I was like, ‘What is this feeling I have?’ I felt like something was missing.”
