DAN WALKER has resorted to social media to say that his BBC co-star Sam Quek had to undergo a “emergency” wardrobe change before presenting the Olympic Breakfast show this morning after “creating mayhem” on set with her outfit.

Dan Walker, 44, of BBC Breakfast, has disclosed that his BBC Olympics co-star Sam Quek had a wardrobe malfunction, only days after he shared a humorous photo of himself making a gaffe with the studio’s green screen. Before hosting the Olympics Breakfast show this morning, the 32-year-old presenter was forced to make a “emergency change” after “creating havoc” with the BBC’s virtual background.

Dan Walker shared a behind-the-scenes look at the BBC’s Tokyo Olympics studio to his 721,700 followers.

Dan said he was ready to begin his day’s presenting duties as he scanned the green screen and red table.

“Good morning, watching a little golf, getting ready for Olympic Breakfast,” he wrote.

Dan approached his co-star, who was dressed stylishly in a white shirt and red trousers, and said, “The table’s in position, snack corridor at the ready.”

Dan added, “And there’s the one and only Sam Quek.”

She welcomed her co-star with, “Morning.”

“Are you prepared to take action?

“Dan inquired.

Sam confirmed, “I’m ready for action.”

Sam proudly displayed her red trousers, which she had paired with a spotless white shirt, saying, “Got my pantalones rojos on today, in Spanish.”

Dan quipped, “A little rouge,” before telling his followers, “We’ll see you live on the telly-box very soon for the Olympics.” However, Dan then stated that his co-star had to change his clothes owing to technical difficulties in a follow-up Tweet.

With a smiling face emoji, he tweeted: “Emergency change for @samquek “The white blouse was causing chaos with the virtual background,” he wrote.

Dan added, referring to Sam’s patriotically colored outfit, “She is now completely #TeamGB.”

Sam had swapped her white blouse for a blue one, while keeping her red trousers and nude heels, as shown in a photo shared by his co-star.

Dan recently had a wardrobe malfunction and resorted to Twitter to explain why hosts are not allowed to wear green while filming.

Dan displayed the problem in front of his 721,000 followers, as he appeared to have a “floating head” as a result of his. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
