As Kelly Neelan’s error is uncovered, Corey Brent, the killer from Coronation Street, walks free.

CORONATION STREET murderer Corey Brent could be released free after Monday’s episodes of the ITV soap revealed Kelly Neelan made a catastrophic mistake.

After months of conjecture, Corey (Maximus Evans) was revealed as Seb’s (Harry Visinoni) killer during Monday’s Coronation Street double-bill. Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) recalled the events of the terrible night her partner was murdered in sad flashback episodes as a result of specific triggers jolting her memory back into place. Despite the fact that Kelly (Millie Gibson) did not deliver the deadly blow, may more evidence from the night in question firmly place her in the frame? Will Corey walk away without being penalised for his role in the beloved character’s demise, as seen in the most recent episodes of the ITV soap?

With the court case due to begin later this week, Monday’s episode began with Nina being transported back in time to the day Seb was murdered because of music she was listening to at the time.

To help her remember more of what happened, the child enlisted the services of Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey), Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), and Abi Franklin (Sally Carman).

Roy Cropper’s (David Neilson) niece returned to the wasteland in a desperate attempt to reclaim her memories, and Corey and Kelly attacked them.

Nina remembered Kelly hitting her around the face from the moment she awoke in the hospital after the hate crime.

In the flashback scenes, it was revealed that the gothic character and her lover hid from Corey’s gang for a while and confessed their love for each other.

However, as darkness fell, they were discovered, and despite their attempts to flee the gang, the terrible onslaught began.

As two of Corey’s friends began abusing Nina, the young criminal viciously kicked and battered Seb to the point of death.

At the same time that Nina was piecing together the events of that fatal night, Kelly was speaking with her lawyer and foster father, Imran Habeeb, from prison (Charlie De Melo).

“When they doubled back, we began seeking for them,” the young schoolgirl explained. It was almost as if we were playing a game of hide and seek.

“And I was drunk and giddy, and it was just a chuckle when we finally saw.”Brinkwire Summary News”.
