When the National Television Awards return in September, PIERS MORGAN, a former presenter on Good Morning Britain, is expected to compete alongside Bradley Walsh and others.
Piers Morgan, 56, has been nominated for a National Television Award, despite departing Good Morning Britain months ago.
Piers Morgan stepped down as presenter of the ITV show after refusing to apologize for remarks made about Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, following her interview with Oprah Winfrey. However, the controversial journalist and TV host has continued to show Piers Morgan’s Life Stories for ITV, and his work on the network has earned him a nomination for the NTAs 2021, where he will compete against Bradley Walsh of The Chase.
The National Television Awards will be back on September 9 with Joel Dommett hosting the star-studded event.
Piers Morgan has been nominated for the TV Presenter Award for his work on ITV’s Good Morning Britain and Life Stories in the morning.

Piers stated that his failure to apologise for his remarks on the Duchess of Sussex caused him and GMB to split up.
Piers will compete for the presenter award against Bradley Walsh, who has become a fan favorite on ITV quiz show The Chase.
Ant and Dec, who are regular NTA winners, are also up for an award for their efforts on I’m a Celebrity…
I Have to Get Out of Here!
