As his house construction is delayed, Jeremy Clarkson yells about his “terrible” living situation.

In his recent newspaper editorial, JEREMY CLARKSON went on a rant over his “terrible” living situation, after the completion date for his new home was pushed back even again.

Jeremy Clarkson has been working on his new home for almost a decade and it is still not complete. The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host revealed that he is presently residing in the “smallest cottage in Britain” as construction on his new home progresses slowly.

As shown in his popular Amazon series Clarkson’s Farm, the 61-year-old lives and works on Diddly Squat farm in the Cotswolds.

The father-of-three lives with his four-year girlfriend Lisa Hogan, with whom he shares three grown children with his ex-wife Frances Cain.

In his most recent newspaper article, Jeremy pointed out that building your own home is a lengthy and far from idyllic process.

Meanwhile, the 6ft 4in celebrity is downsizing his living quarters and quipped that he can touch the walls of his living room at the same time.

“I’ve been living in what is officially the smallest cottage in Britain for the past three years,” Jeremy wrote in his Sunday Times column.

“I can touch all four walls standing in the middle of the sitting room.”

“I can also cook dinner and go to the bathroom at the same time.”

“It was bad enough before, but now it’s horrible,” he continued.

Before construction on the ex-Top Gear host’s new home could begin, he had it redesigned several times before settling on the final design.

He then went on to detail a number of issues he experienced when the construction work finally started.

Unfortunately, the completion date was postponed on multiple occasions due to a variety of factors, including the coronavirus epidemic.

He is now expecting that the construction will be completed in time for Christmas, six months later than expected.
