As a SECOND Strictly Come Dancing star, Robert Webb’s previous dance experience is revealed.

ROBERT WEBB is the second star to be confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2021, and it will not be his first time on the show.

BBC broadcasters Alex Jones and Amol Rajan unveiled the first three celebrities who will compete in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing on Wednesday night’s The One Show. Tom Fletcher, who starred in the film McFly, was the first big name to be confirmed, followed by comedian Robert Webb. AJ Odudu was the third celebrity to be announced. During the interview, though, Alex and Amol didn’t waste any time bringing up Robert’s previous dance expertise. In 2009, the star won Let’s Dance for Comic Relief.

When asked how he was feeling, the comic revealed to the hosts, “It’s exhilarating but with a small undertone of quivering horror.”

“Did I anticipate hearing [those words]? No… I don’t believe I did.”

“I believe you did,” Alex added. “Psychoanalysing you.”

“It was fated,” Robert said. It was a foregone conclusion.”

“The trouble is, Robert, or should I call you Spongebob?” Amol continued, referring to Robert’s previous dancing experience.

“The issue is, you’ve already danced on the BBC. It has been a couple years.

“I’m not sure if the experience traumatized or tormented you?

“But it’s difficult for us to forget,” Amol concluded as they showed a video of the comic dancing for Comic Relief in 2009.

The 48-year-old was seen dancing to Flashdance’s “What a Feeling” while clothed in a black leotard and wearing a wig.

“That was fantastic,” Alex exclaimed as she applauded the actor.

Robert informed them, “That was in 2009.” “Since then, there has been a lot of hair under the bridge.

“The more I watch Strictly, the more I think that was a fairly simple routine I did there.”

“The outfit did most of the work for me,” Robert remarked as Alex showered him with adulation once more.

He then went on to talk about his health issues, which prompted him to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Alex inquired as to whether his participation in Strictly was a factor, to which he said, “I’m just in it for the cossies [costumes].”

“However, I think that’s true. I suppose you reach a moment in your life where you think to yourself, “Brinkwire Summary News.”
