Anton Du Beke admits to’sobbing’ over Strictly Come Dancing on a regular basis.
ANTON DU BEKE said that during Musicals Week, he spent several evenings “sobbing” watching Strictly Come Dancing.
Following their performance on Saturday’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing, Anton Du Beke made an open confession to Tom Fletcher and pro partner Amy Dowden. He admitted to the McFly frontman that he had spent many evenings “internally bawling” about the dance competition.
“Anton, you did truly want Tom to learn to let it go more last week and you wanted more power from him, didn’t you?” Tess Daly said Anton after Tom and Amy’s dramatic dance to On My Own from Les Misérables on Saturday night. Did you understand what I said? “I did, and it’s good,” the Strictly pro turned judge answered. I mean, I’ve spent many evenings sobbing to myself on the Strictly Come Dancing floor.
“I must say, I liked it; you were more powerful.” I enjoyed the performance, and Musicals Week is one of my favorite times of the year.
“My only issue is that when you started approaching me, I could see exactly what was going to happen.”
