Andrea Meyer, a metal musician, died in a bow-and-arrow attack: What We Know.

Andréa Meyer, a well-known metal musician and writer, was killed by a grisly bow and arrow attack on Wednesday, Oct. 13. According to a story by The Associated Press, Meyer was one of five persons slain by Espen Andersen Brthen, 37, who went on a rampage in the tranquil Norwegian hamlet of Kongsberg with a bow, arrows, and an unnamed stabbing device. Brthen is said to have confessed to the five murders, although the investigation is still underway.

Meyer is best known for her stage name Nebelhex in the metal music scene, although she has also worked as a writer, actress, and model. She was previously married to EMPEROR’s main guitarist and lived alone in Kongsberg while working on her blog and other initiatives. On his violent spree, Brthen allegedly chose Meyer and other victims at random, according to local police, and he is currently being held in a medical facility while the investigation continues. According to the most recent information from NME, authorities believe Brthen will face additional charges before the case is finished.

Meyer worked on three Nebelhex albums, numerous papers, and other projects investigating esoteric studies, mythology, human nature, and music trends in Kongsberg, Norway, where the attack occurred. She previously married guitarist Tomas “Samoth” Haugen and had a daughter named Alva with him.

Meyer and the other victims were not intentionally targeted, according to the authorities, and Brthen fired at anybody he came to come across. Brthen was “not particularly gregarious,” according to police inspector Per Thomas Omholt, and “all indications are that he chose his victims at random” and acted alone.

Omholt also attempted to debunk claims that Brthen had become radicalized by Islam. In 2017, Brthen shared a video on social media “”The thought is that he did not take [the conversion]very seriously,” Omholt said, “warning” others that he had converted to an extreme interpretation of the Muslim faith. This means that he did not follow or observe the common traditions of this culture and religion.” Brthen has a criminal record that includes burglary and narcotics possession. Last year, his parents filed a restraining order against him after he threatened to kill one of them. At… Brinkwire Entertainment News Summary
