Amanda Owen of OUR YORKSHIRE FARM has reported that she and her family have been sick.

Amanda Owen has sent her fans an update, revealing that she and her family have been ill. The couple had been “laid low” with Covid while she was swamped with support, according to the star of Our Yorkshire Farm.

Amanda informed her 174,000 Twitter followers of the news tonight.

This was the first time she has used the platform since August 22.

She shared a video of her daughter in a red dress skipping towards the camera.

She did, however, share what had happened in the caption.

“Making amazing strides,” she wrote.

“We’re all right, although a couple of us have been knocked out by the Microbe.”

She then added the hashtags “#yorkshire #sick #recovery #COVID” to her post.

Following her update, the shepherdess received an outpouring of support.

“Hope you all make a good recovery,” wrote Julia Bradbury of Countryfile.

“Hope everyone gets healthy soon,” one fan said. It was wonderful to meet you at the farm at 5 p.m.”

“I was just thinking today that I hadn’t seen any posts from you in a while,” another responded.

“I wish you all a speedy recovery.”

“You’ve been missed!” said a fourth. I wish you all a speedy recovery.”

This follows the news that her son Reuben had tested positive for Covid earlier this week.

He was scheduled to perform alongside his mother at Barnsley’s 5 On The Farm festival.

On August 26, the festival’s Facebook page verified the news.

“We wanted to reassure all of Reuben’s admirers that he is not sick, but [we]are confident you would all join us in giving him our best wishes for a speedy recovery,” the message stated.

” Amanda Owen has tested negative and is continuing to isolate and do PCR testing on a daily basis.

“Amanda is still hoping and looking forward to performing ‘The Yorkshire Shepherdess: Live’ on our Main Stage, as well as appearing in The Barn and Signing Tent, as well as on The Kitchen stage, at 5 on the Farm Festival.”
