After watching Vinicius Jr’s incredible abilities, Brazil supporters are confident they’ve found the ‘next Neymar.’

In their most recent World Cup qualifier, Brazil and Argentina couldn’t be separated, but the two South American nations typically produce some Samba heroes, and last night was no exception.

Following Vinicius Jr’s performance against Argentina, Brazil fans believe they have identified the next Neymar.

With an incredible rainbow flick, the Real Madrid player left Nahuel Molina in the dust.

Brazil and Argentina drew 0-0 in the early hours of Wednesday morning, ensuring that both teams qualified for the World Cup in Qatar next winter.

But it was Vinicius Jr’s performance in the corner flag that really stood out.

With the game tied and the striker in a tight situation, the 21-year-old decided to loft the ball over the Udinese player in a spectacular moment that would have made Neymar pleased.

Because the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder was unable to play due to injury, it was left to his teammate to give the spark.

Vinicius Jr even set up Lucas Paqueta following the rainbow flick, but the Lyon ace missed the target, robbing his friend of one of the best assists in history.

It has led to Brazil fans assuming they have found their next Neymar, who has been plagued by injuries in recent seasons.

“Neymar wasn’t there, but Vinicius was,” one fan stated.

“Vinicius has Neymar methods in his genes,” one person said.

“Wow Vinicius junior will be the next great thing in Brazil after Neymar amazing a skill,” a third tweeted.

“O jogo bonito lives on, passing the baton from Neymar to Vinicius,” wrote another.

Vinicius Jr has been in excellent form for Real Madrid this season, and is one of Carlo Ancelotti’s greatest performances.

This season, the former Flamengo striker has nine goals in 16 games, including seven in La Liga.

His efforts, together with those of Karim Benzema, have made them the division’s leading scorers, and he is keeping Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale out of the team.
