After Nina Wadia was eliminated from Strictly, fans dubbed her ‘better’ than Katie McGlynn.
Fans of STRICTLY COME DANCING were outraged when actress Nina Wadia was the first candidate to exit the program, with many saying the 52-year-old outperformed some of the other contestants.
Following her Tango performance with partner Neil Jones on Saturday’s live program, Nadia received some harsh criticism from judge Craig Revel Horwood. After scoring 18 points, the couple was relegated to the bottom of the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard, and they were eliminated from the competition on tonight’s BBC episode. The judges’ scores from this week were added to those from previous week, and the results of the viewers’ votes were used to determine the two couples with the lowest scores who would compete in the dance-off. However, fans are outraged by the outcome, with one claiming Nina was “much better” than fellow dance-off entrant Katie McGlynn.
Nina is the first celebrity to exit the 2021 show after competing against Katie McGlynn in the dreaded dance-off.
Both couples reprised their routines, with Nina and Neil Jones returning to their Tango to Eurythmics’ Would I Lie To You? Katie and her dance partner Gorka Marquez did a Jive to Olivia Rodrigo’s Good 4 U in an attempt to impress the judges and stay in the competition.
Following the dances, Craig made the following observation: “Both couples have certainly improved since the first time they danced.
“Nina, you followed the instructions to the letter. Katie, you had a lot of retraction and kept the enthusiasm up all the way to the conclusion. Katie and Gorka, on the other hand, are a couple I’d like to save.” Katie and Gorka were also saved by Motsi Mabuse. “First and foremost, I want to congratulate both couples on their dance-off,” she said.
“I truly believe that both of you gave everything you had tonight and produced the greatest performance you could.
“I just felt like one pair was a little bit more convincing than the others, so I’m going with Katie and Gorka.”
Nina and Neil were saved by new judge and former professional contender Anton Du Beke, who praised their “greatest performance.”
He said, “This is precisely how you want a dance-off to be.” “You want to give it your all, and I believe you both did.
“This is your greatest performance in both dances. “Brinkwire Summary News” was the one who raised their game.
