After Nicki Minaj’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock tirade, Jesy Nelson loses 51k followers.

Fans of Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Nicki Minaj are divided over the matter, and it appears that some of Jesy’s fans have decided enough is enough. Former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson has lost 51,000 Instagram followers after her contentious live video with Nicki Minaj.

Jesy and Nicki teamed up for an Instagram live to promote their new single Boyz, which was released last week, however several controversial subjects were discussed throughout the live.

Following leaked DMs purportedly received by Leigh-Anne Pinnock pushing an influencer to expose Jesy, the pair discussed claims of Jesy “blackfishing” on Monday.

While the discussion has sparked a lot of debate, especially among Little Mix fans, it appears that many of them have decided to cut ties with Jesy by unfollowing her on Instagram.

Jesy had been losing followers since October 9, but it dropped significantly after her Instagram live on October 11.

The artist, who had 8,485,100 Instagram followers a few days ago, now has 8,433,800, a reduction of nearly 51,000 followers.

Meanwhile, Leigh-fan Anne’s base has grown significantly since the live, rising from 7,780,000 on the night of the broadcast to 7,839,000 as of this writing.

Following the video, neither Jesy nor Leigh-Anne have said anything, however Nicki was overheard declaring the alleged DMs as fact while calling Leigh-Anne a “huge f*****g clown.”

Nicki expressed herself like follows: “There are a lot of women in the United States who tan, get bigger lips, and have all kinds of nonsense done to them.

“I wear blonde hair, straight blonde hair down to my feet if I want to when I want to, contacts, whatever,” she says.

While Jesy kept a straight face for the majority of the footage, she burst out laughing when Nicki urged Leigh-Anne to “suck ya mother [sic]” and told her to “focus her energies on something else.”

The row erupts after The Sun reported that Leigh-Anne had warned Jesy about her appearance last year, with her remarks apparently causing a gap between the two.

According to the publication, a source said: “Leigh-Anne spoke with Jesy, attempting to explain why she was unhappy and how it would be hurtful.

“She felt compelled to confront it while filming her racism documentary, but it seems to have gone unnoticed.”

According to the source, Jesy’s claim that it had never been mentioned was false. The news is summarized by Brinkwire.
