Pauley Perrette, who played Abby Sciuto on the long-running CBS show NCIS, thanked fans for their support after returning to screens this weekend for a fundraiser telethon for the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

During her time as one of the major characters on the CBS drama NCIS, Abby Sciuto (played by Pauley Perrette) amassed a sizable fan base. Even though Perrette left the role in 2018, she still keeps in touch with her fans and social media followers who want to show their support for the People’s Choice Award nominee. In a rare on-screen return, Perrette and a slew of other celebrities banded together to raise money for a cause near to his heart over the weekend.

Perrette made her television comeback on the California-based network KTLA, when she and a number of other celebrities supported the LA LGBT Center’s telethon, Love in Action.

The fundraising event, hosted by Cher Calvin and Jai Rodriguez, urged viewers to donate to the organization, which has aided thousands of LGBT people in Los Angeles.

Jane Lynch of Glee, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin of Grace and Frankie, and Natasha Lyonne of Russian Doll were among the celebs that joined Perrette on-screen to discuss how important the center was to them.

“Hey guys, Pauley Perrette here,” Perrette said via video hookup to KTLA viewers in a rare return to the television.

“I’ve been a supporter (and) a donor of the LGBT center for a long time,” she says.

“It makes me very proud, and it makes me very happy.” And I’d like to invite you to join us.

“Join us in changing lives, saving lives, and assisting those who truly need our assistance.”

“From our LGBT young to our LGBT senior and everything in between – healthcare,” the former NCIS star continued.

“The last year has been incredibly tough, and the center has been there in every manner for individuals who need it, and it will never stop giving help to anyone who need it,” Perrette ended.

The NCIS star then spoke with hosts Calvin and Rodriguez over the phone, explaining how she got involved with the organization.
