After Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley tested positive for COVID-19, KISS’ farewell tour was postponed.
After both Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley tested positive for COVID-19, KISS’ last tour dates have been postponed.
Following numerous postponements, KISS has resumed its End of the Road world tour. Fans who have purchased tickets, on the other hand, will have to wait a bit longer after both founding members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons tested positive for COVID-19. Following a five-day statement on KISS’ official social media platforms, Paul was the first to catch coronavirus.
“Tonight’s KISS show at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, PA has been postponed owing to Paul Stanley testing positive for COVID,” the message stated. More information regarding the show dates will be published as soon as possible.
“Everyone on the tour, both band members and crew members, has been completely immunized.
The band and their crew have functioned in their own bubble to keep everyone safe as much as possible throughout each show and in the time between shows.
“The tour also has a full-time COVID safety protocol officer on staff who ensures that everyone follows all CDC guidelines.”
Paul comforted followers at the moment by tweeting, “PEOPLE!!!” I’m perfectly fine! I’m not in the intensive care unit! My heart allows me to ride my bike 26 miles a day!”
