After gaining weight between films, the Harry Potter star claims she was “handled differently.”

With Deathly Hallows Roles 1 and 2, HARRY POTTER’S film franchise came to an end, but when one star returned to film her parts in these flicks, she was “handled differently,” claiming her weight loss as the reason.

The Harry Potter franchise came to a conclusion with an epic two-parter event in The Deathly Hallows Part 1 & Part 2 after 10 years of filming. The franchise is remains one of the most profitable film franchises of all time, with over $7.7 billion in box office receipts. Unfortunately, the experience of making the latter two films was not always pleasant for the actor who played Lavender Brown.

Jessie Cave first appeared as Lavender in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which was released in 2009.

The teenage witch was Ron Weasley’s (Rupert Grint) initial love interest, motivating her return in the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2.

“I gained a lot of weight after doing Harry Potter, just because I wasn’t starving myself, and I was growing up and that’s just what happens,” Cave said in a new interview.

“I was treated like a different species” when she returned to film the Deathly Hallows movies, she claimed.

“It was horrible,” Cave continued. It was probably more about my nervousness about not fitting into the same size jeans as the other actresses, but it wasn’t a time when actresses wore anything larger than a size eight.

“And I was a size 12 in the previous picture, and now I was a size 12 in this one.” So that was a disaster. It was a very unpleasant experience.” (Image courtesy of The Independent)

“But you get a little bigger, or you’re not as significant, and it shuts off, and you have to find your way in the dark,” she added, reflecting on the experience.

“When I gained a little weight, I felt completely unnoticeable. And it’s caused me to have strange weight and work concerns since then.”

“It’s so f***ed up, but it’s just how it is,” Cave remarked. That is something that women have to deal with on a regular basis.”

Cave is grateful for the road she has taken, despite the pain she faced while filming the Warner Bros movies.

“If I’d stayed skinny – abnormally thin, uncomfortably thin – I would have probably gotten more acting parts, and then.”Brinkwire Summary News”, she continued.
