After an Astroworld performance that left eight people dead, Travis Scott went to Dave & Busters.

Travis Scott reportedly attended a Dave & Buster’s after party following the tragic Astroworld Festival incident, which left eight people dead and hundreds more injured. The rapper, who was playing at the festival when the “mass casualty event” occurred, was allegedly uninformed of the deaths, according to sources.

Drake, who performed onstage alongside Scott during the Friday night event, hosted the after party. In the days since the tragedy, the two rappers have been chastised after video emerged of them continuing their act as medical cars entered the crowd and concertgoers cried for aid. According to sources, neither Scott nor Drake were aware of the seriousness of the incident when they arrived at the after party, with one source claiming that Scott “didn’t know the severity of the situation when he arrived at the party, as far as timing, this remains consistent with the fact that no one, including the police, had publicly confirmed the gravity of the events that had occurred.” Scott, who launched Astroworld in 2018, left the party after learning of the murders and injuries.

New information have surfaced as the inquiry into the incident continues. At roughly 9:15 p.m., “the audience began to crush toward the front of the stage, and people began to panic,” according to Houston Fire Chief Samuel Pea, with a “mass casualty event” announced not long after. Jacob Jurinek, 21, John Hilgert, 14, Brianna Rodriguez, 16, Franco Patio, 21, Axel Acosta, 21, Rudy Pea, 23, Madison Dubiski, 23, and Danish Baig, 27, were among the eight persons killed in the incident. Several more individuals were taken to local hospitals, including a 9-year-old kid, and more than 300 people were seen at a field hospital at the stadium.

Both musicians have now spoken out about the incident, with Scott expressing his condolences in a statement released over the weekend “What happened last night has left me completely distraught. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who were affected by the Astroworld Festival tragedy.” Meanwhile, Drake issued a statement on Monday, expressing his “heartbreak for the families and friends of those who have lost their lives, as well as everyone who is suffering.” He went on to say that he would “I will continue to pray for them all and will be of assistance in every manner I can. May God’s blessings be upon you all.” According to the Daily Mail, both Scott and… Brinkwire Summary Entertainment News
