After a tractor accident on the farm, Jeremy Clarkson had to call Kaleb Cooper for assistance.

JEREMY CLARKSON recalled a time when his tractor broke down and the two front wheels became stuck in the air.

Jeremy Clarkson recently sat down for an interview with BBC Radio 2’s The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, where he gushed about the mishap of purchasing a tractor disk, which resulted in him having a defective tractor.

The 61-year-old explained how he was forced to call his Clarkson’s Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper for assistance in moving the vehicle, but the situation turned out to be far more complicated than he had anticipated.

I could only drive the tractor if Kaleb served as a bonnet ornament.

He said on the radio morning show, “Weirdly, I bought a piece of equipment — it’s called a disk; apparently, I’ve learned.”

“It was too heavy, really, because every time you lifted it up, my tractor’s front wheels flew into the air, and then it got stuck, and you couldn’t get the wheels back down.”

“So I called Kaleb and put him in the front box to add weight, and the only way I could drive the tractor was with Kaleb as a sort of bonnet ornament, like the flying lady on the Rolls Royce.”

The Doncaster native revealed that he had planned a beer tasting session shortly after the incident.

Instead of finding another vehicle, he had Kaleb ride shotgun on the hood as they drove to his brewery.

Jeremy joked that driving the tractor made for an “even more amazing spectacle” after tasting his beer all afternoon.

“It was a fun way to pass the time, to say the least,” he concluded.

When asked if the incident was filmed for the second season of Clarkson’s Farm, Jeremy simply said no.

Jeremy and Kaleb had been filming with the camera crew twice a week for the past month, but they happened to have a day off from production on this particular day.

Meanwhile, the former Top Gear star, who recently won a prize for his Amazon Prime Video show at the British Farming Awards, made headlines earlier this week when he claimed he’d been passed over for a Bafta.
